Hey there, welcome to the second and final screening assessment with Jobox
Congratulations on successfully completing the vetting test/skills assessment on Jobox! In this round, you will be expected to complete and submit a Task Submission.
At Jobox, we facilitate two types of task submissions:
- Video Submissions: Video submissions are used to assess the applicants’ knowledge and understanding of specific concepts and they provide employers with a glimpse of applicants’ communication skills, presentation style, and overall professional demeanor.
- Written Submissions: Certain positions may require applicants to submit writing samples they have authored previously. Written submissions enable employers to evaluate applicants’ writing skills, grammar, creativity, and ability to communicate effectively through the written word. Reviewing writing samples helps employers assess whether the applicant’s writing style aligns with the organisation’s needs and standards.
Now that you have better understanding of the purpose of the task submission, let’s have a look at the task at hand.
1. Video Submission
Please record a 2-minute video in which you:
- Introduce yourself to Dataloop.
- Tell them why you are interested in working in data analytics or at Dataloop.
2. Written Submission
Please submit a PDF document including:
- A link to your Matric results.
- A link to your latest Academic record.
- A short cover letter explaining why you think Dataloop is a good fit for you.
To share your matric results and matric results, add them to your Google Drive, change the access to “Anyone with the Link”, and share the links on your PDF document. Use this resource to assist you with creating the shareable links.
Please complete and submit your task submission before Wednesday the 27th of March 2024 by 23:59pm.
Some Tips to Help you Prepare:
- Remember to thoroughly prepare your video before you record it.
- Remember to thoroughly edit and format your written task before submitting it.
- Please ensure that your written submission is in PDF format.
- Please try to keep the camera stable while filming.
- Please ensure that you have good lighting and no background noise when recording your video.

Submission Time!
Awesome! Now that you have prepared your task submission and are ready to submit, please kindly follow the instructions below:
Step 1: Log in to Your Jobox Account
- Return to the Jobox login page and log in using the same details you used to register.
Step 2: Navigate to the Open Jobs Table
- Upon logging in, you will land on your student profile page. On the left-hand side menu, click on the “Apply for a Job” tab.
Step 3: Find the Opportunity for which you need to submit your Task Submission
- Under the “Apply for a Job” tab, you will see the “Open Jobs” table. Find the opportunity for which you have been invited to the task submission round.
Step 4: View the Job Description
- Click on the “View” button for the job description.
Step 5: Upload Your Written Submission
- Click on the button provided to upload your document. Please ensure your document is in PDF format, as only PDF documents are accepted.
- A popup will appear, allowing you to select the PDF file from your computer. Once selected, click “Open” to submit your written submission.
Step 6: Create a Shareable Link for your Video Submission
- For video submissions, you need to create a shareable link to your video.
Step 7: Submit Your Video Submission
- Click on the button provided to upload your video link and submit your video submission.
Step 8: Apply for the Job
- Once you have uploaded both your written and video submissions, click on the “Apply for Job” button.
